Artwork Authenticity & Editions
Charles Bibbs Limited Editions are produced in finite edition groups. Each product page identifies the edition variation offered for that artwork and provides the available edition-specific details.
Signed and numbered Limited Editions
Studio B's Charles Bibbs Limited Edition prints are signed and numbered. Each edition is produced in a stated maximum quantity, and each impression carries the artist's signature and an edition number. A number such as 37/200 identifies that impression as number 37 in an edition of 200.
Regular editions
The regular or standard Limited Edition is the primary numbered edition for an artwork. Its edition size, materials, printing technique, dimensions, and other characteristics are stated on the product page.
Artist Proofs
Artist Proofs are a separately designated edition associated with the same composition. They have their own edition size and numbering sequence and should not be assumed to be identical to the regular edition in every treatment or characteristic.
Special Editions and Special Artist Editions
Special Editions and Special Artist Editions are separately designated variations with their own documented edition size, numbering sequence, materials, enhancements, or other features. The product record—not the category name alone—controls the description of a particular variation.
Edition sizes and numbering
Each edition variation has its own edition size and numbering sequence. Studio B assigns edition numbers from its official records. A specific number is available only when Studio B confirms it.
Certificates of Authenticity
Every new Charles Bibbs Limited Edition order receives a Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate documents the artwork and edition information supported by Studio B's records.
Replacement certificates
Studio B reviews replacement-certificate requests before issuing a replacement. The requester should provide a photograph of the complete artwork, a clear photograph showing the artist's signature and edition number, and proof of purchase such as an order number, receipt, or gallery invoice.
For a gallery or dealer purchase, the original seller should normally begin the request. If that business has closed or cannot assist, Studio B may review the collector's request directly.
Replacement certificates are generally provided without a certificate fee, and standard domestic mailing is generally covered by Studio B. If unusually high shipping costs apply, Studio B may propose a charge and will obtain the customer's approval before shipment.
A replacement or reprinted certificate does not create a new edition number or change the artwork's existing number. Historical records do not always connect a certificate to a specific customer order, so Studio B cannot promise universal historical order-number verification.
